Over the years, my focus has always been on making our community a better place for all of us.

•  leading the efforts to fund and build the largest inclusive playground in the upper midwest
• advocating for smart development as a commissioner on the Minnetonka Economic Development Authority 
• leading a church group devoted to helping young mothers 
• coaching soccer for young kids 
• guiding activities in senior living facilities 
• raising funds to start new and innovative programs that help students succeed in our schools 
• and much more

I’ve lived in Minnetonka for over 34 years, in the same home.

My husband, David, and I have four children and 2 grandkids. 

Our kids went to school in Hopkins School District.

Former  active board member of Hopkins Education Foundation, where I recruited many talented volunteers and raised funds for and awarded grants to improve the quality of our children’s education.

Volunteer for Hopkins School District at all levels, Pre-K-12 and district level, for over 20 years. I did everything from teaching kids to write to hiring principals and more.

16 years as PTO board member, including serving as board president at Alice Smith and auditor at Glen Lake.

WAMSO (MN Orchestra Volunteer Association) board member, where I led a program to introduce young audiences to music.

BRAVO! coordinator in Alice Smith Elementary, where I taught music appreciation.
